AGES:

• Youth Teams: Kindergarten - 8th Grade

• High School Teams: 9th Grade - 12th Grade

SEASONS:

• Youth Teams:

  • Fall/Winter: September - February

  • Spring/Summer: March - August

• High School Teams:

  • Fall: September - October

  • Spring/Summer: March - August

TRYOUTS:

We are a NO CUT program, meaning there is a place for every athlete at every skill level. Our teams range from elite-level athletes who compete on the Power 32 Circuit to competitive teams that travel locally and across the Northwest, to developmental teams focusing on building fundamental skills through local leagues and tournaments.

We’re committed to providing a team that fits your athlete’s abilities and aspirations—whether they’re looking to compete at a high level or just get started in a supportive, skill-building environment. There’s a team for everyone at Oly Basketball Academy!

COST:

• Team fees typically range from $1,000 - $1,500 per 6-month season, depending on the level and duration of the season.

• Payment plans are available to make it easier for families to manage the cost.

• Oly Basketball Academy also offers a scholarship program for those who may need financial assistance.

All funds collected go directly back into the program to support hiring top-level coaches, securing gym time, and covering tournament and league fees.

PRACTICES & TRAINING:

• Teams practice 2 times per week to refine skills, build team chemistry, and prepare for competition.

• 1 skills session per week is included in your team fee, offering additional focused training to help your athlete improve their game.

TOURNAMENTS:

• All teams participate in 2 tournaments per month—typically held on Saturdays and Sundays. Depending on performance, teams may play 2 to 3 games each day.

• Elite-level teams (including our Power 32 teams) may participate in 3-4 tournaments per month, giving them frequent, high-level competition opportunities.

• Tournament Locations:

  • Local and regional tournaments are held in areas including Auburn/Kent, Centralia, Portland, and Seattle.

  • Elite Power 32 Circuit teams may also travel to multiple states, offering even more exposure and competition across the country.

COMMUNICATION:

At Oly Basketball Academy, we believe in clear and efficient communication. Once you join a team, all updates, schedules, and important information are managed through the Teamsnap App, keeping you in the loop every step of the way.
